Volunteer Opportunities at the Foodbank:

Office Assistant:
Days: Monday - Friday
Time: 9:00am-12:00pm & 1:00pm - 4:30pm
Job Description: Answer phones, file, use copier and duplicator, data entry, assist with mailings and other general office tasks to support the management team and programs of the Foodbank.

Salvage Recovery:
Days: Monday - Friday
Time: 9:00am - 12:00pm and 1:00pm - 3:00pm
Job Description: Inspect, clean and sort donated products by category. Pack USDA boxes or supplemental bags according to specific listed items. Palletize and label for delivery or distribution.

Warehouse:
Days: Monday - Friday
Time: 8:00am - 12:00pm & 1:00pm - 3:00pm
Job Description: Assist with pulling orders, work in the freezer and help stock distribution area. Clean and organize warehouse as needed.

Agency Distribution:
Days: Tuesday - Friday
Time: 7:30am - 12:00pm
Job Description: Assist agencies with orders and the selecting and weighing of produce, bread amd other products offered during the distribution hours.

USDA Distribution
Days: Friday
Time: 9:00am - 11:00am
Job Description: Check in clients and hand out numbers. Assist with record keeping and intake. Set up area for distribution by arranging USDA boxes and other products to be distributed in an orderly manner.
