Host Your Own Food And Fund Drive -
A Fun And Easy Way to Help The Foodbank:
Food and Fund Drives are a fun and easy way to support your local food bank! They are also an important source of food. In fact, they provide nearly one-third of the food we distribute annually. By hosting a food collection barrel or running a financial drive at your company, school or place of worship, you help us to continue to meet the needs of so many people in our community. Once you've organized your Food and Fund Drive you can add it to our Calendar of Events.
Create a Virtual Food Drive - a way for your company to provide a customized online shopping cart. Through this Internet-based technology, you will be able to make monetary donations to the Foodbank of Southeastern Virginia, enabling the food bank to purchase the exact items needed.
Why use the Virtual Food Drive?
The answer is simple - to get more meals on the tables of hungry people faster and with less expense than through traditional food collection drives.
The Virtual Food Drive gives you the opportunity to take advantage of the Foodbank of Southeastern Virginia's strong relationships with food industry partners and its cost-effective operations. In fact, using the Virtual Food Drive will turn a $1 donation into enough food for up to 3 complete, nutritious meals!
